At Physic Kombucha, we never add additional sugar during the second fermentation of our kombucha. Sugar is added during the first fermentation to feed the yeast in the SCOBY which allows for the production of beneficial bacteria.
To create the subtly sweet and refreshing flavor profile, we cold press juice from fresh fruit. This creates a balanced beverage that also provides all the benefits of the cold pressed juices.
Cold pressed juices retain their vitamins, minerals and micronutrients during processing. This means you're getting a concentrated dose from each fruit in every sip of Physic Kombucha!
Did you know that Pineapple juice is an excellent source of bromelain? According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, bromelain may beneficial for reducing inflammation and osteoporosis, as well as improving digestion.
Our Plum + Grape kombucha is loaded with Vitamin A from the cold pressed plum juice. Vitamin A plays an important role in maintaining and protective your vision.
